We here at Miscellaneous IT are proponents of Open Source Software and Open Culture. This pages exists to explain our policies on information ownership and call out attention, where possible, to those who’s works we are using.

Attribution

The Miscellaneous IT website currently runs on Wordpress, a free blogging and content management system developed and distributed under the GPL.

The Miscellaneous IT website uses it’s own theme, based off of the Wordpress default theme, which was based off of Michael Heilemann’s “Kubrick” theme, which is also available under the GPL.

Unless otherwise noted, content generated by Miscellaneous IT on this website is copyrighted, but we have fairly liberal views on fair use.
